Privacy Policy & Financial Disclaimer
Plain language, no burying the important parts. Last updated 21 October 2026.
Financial disclaimer
LifeTurn Money provides general financial education only. Nothing on this website is financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any product. We are not a regulated financial advisor, law firm or tax practice in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or anywhere else, and reading this site does not create an advisor–client relationship.
Financial rules, tax limits, benefit rates and credit-scoring practices change — often every tax year. We work to keep guides accurate and date our sources, but we cannot guarantee that any figure is current at the moment you read it. Always verify important numbers on the official source for your country (IRS, HMRC/GOV.UK, CRA) and consider regulated professional advice before acting, especially for divorce settlements, pension transfers, immigration-related tax and borrowing decisions.
Examples and calculator outputs on this site are illustrations based on assumptions stated next to them. They are not predictions or guarantees of investment returns, credit-score changes, tax outcomes or benefit entitlements. Your results will differ.
What we collect
This website is a static publication. We do not run user accounts, we do not have a comment system, and we never ask for financial account details, passwords, or government ID numbers. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them only to reply.
Cookies and advertising
The site is funded by display advertising. When advertising is active, our advertising partners (which may include Adsterra, PropellerAds, Infolinks and, in future, Google AdSense) may place cookies or similar identifiers on your device to serve and measure adverts, including personalised adverts where you have consented. These partners operate under their own privacy policies, which govern the data they collect. You can control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and — in the UK and EEA — you are entitled to refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to our content.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides are read and where readers arrive from. We do not build individual reader profiles, and we do not sell personal data — we hold almost none to sell.
External links
Our guides link to official sources and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of external sites; a link is a citation, not an endorsement of everything on that site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under UK GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA and various US state privacy laws — you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information held about you. Given the minimal data described above, the practical route for any of these requests is to contact us through the site's published contact channel, and we will respond within the timeframe your law requires.
Children
This website is written for adults managing household finances and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this page
When our practices change — for example, when a new advertising partner is added — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
